I’m Sarah Sheridan,

founder of TRIO and mom to three little ones navigating the beautiful, demanding, and often chaotic reality of modern motherhood. I’ve nursed babies in airport terminals, chased toddlers through security lines, and carried more bags than any one human should.

And through it all, I kept wishing for products that were both functional and beautiful; solutions designed for real life, not just Instagram.

Nothing quite hit the mark.

So I decided to create it.

Where TRIO Began

The idea for TRIO was born during a summer flight when I was traveling alone with all three of my kids. My baby was crying in the carrier, my toddlers were dropping snacks like confetti, and our entire row was covered in bags, toys, and every thing in between. I remember looking around, desperately searching for a safe place to set my baby down, and catching eyes with another mom in the same overwhelmed moment.

THAT WAS THE SPARK. I THOUGHT, THERE HAS TO BE AN EASIER WAY TO DO THIS.

I started mentally listing the three things I always reached for when away from home:

The Voya is TRIO’s first creation: a 3-in-1 everywhere essential that works as a diaper bag, nursing pillow and changing pad — all thoughtfully disguised as a beautiful, multi-functional bag.

It’s the product I needed but couldn’t find.

It also reflects my own three children, who unknowingly co-designed this product by simply living their lives beside me. In airports, in cars, in coffee shops, and everywhere in between.

My career has always centered on empowering women and TRIO is a continuation of that mission: a woman-owned brand designed to support mothers through grace, intelligence, and beautifully crafted products.
